msgmerge --update locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/index.po build/gettext/index.pot

Build in english

make html

Build in french

make html SPHINXOPTS="-D locale_dirs=$(pwd)/locale -D language=fr"

In english it yields

Availability: Unix, not Emscripten, not WASI.
